PACS Group is seeking a Dietary Aide General Purpose to support daily kitchen operations in a healthcare setting. You will learn food service routines, set up meal trays, assist with serving meals, and help maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen.

The role emphasizes compliance with food safety standards, ability to follow recipes, read procedures, and work cooperatively with staff. High school diploma required; must obtain a food handler certificate.

Qualifications

• Ability to read technical procedures.
• Ability to read and follow recipes.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
• Ability to solve practical problems.

Responsibilities

• Learn food service routines and assist in setting up meal trays.
• Strip down returned trays and start washing dishes.
• Assist with serving the different meals.
• Check and record chlorine concentration and water temperature of the dishwashing machine.
• Observe water temperatures during dishwashing cycles and operate the dishwasher.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks, and keep kitchen clean and sanitary.
