Job summary

Regency Integrated Health Services is seeking a Dietary Aide for Jefferson Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Beaumont, TX. You will assist in meal service, food preparation, and dining hall cleanup under the direction of the Certified Dietary Manager.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food prep and cooking per state/federal regulations.
• Prepare and serve beverages.
• Set up and pass meal trays.
• Stock snack cart.
• Bus tables and clear trays.
• Clean the kitchen work area.
• Dishwashing and handwashing as required.
• Support CDM or Executive Director on special projects.

Primary Responsibilities

The Dietary Aide follows the direction of the Certified Dietary Manager and state guidelines to ensure that food is properly prepared, served to residents, and after meals are completed cleanup of the dining hall and dishes.

Essential Functions

• Assist with food prep and cooking following universal precautions and state/federal regulations
• Preparing and serving beverages
• Setting up and passing trays for meal service
• Stocking snack cart
• Bussing of tables and trays
• Cleaning the kitchen work area
• DishwashingFollow proper handwashing guidelines
• Additional special projects or tasks can be assigned at times by the CDM or the Executive Director

Qualifications

Educational/Training Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred

Licensing Requirements

• Must have Texas Food Handler Certificate

Experience Requirements

• Working in a commercial kitchen experience is preferred
