Job summary

CareCore Lakeridge in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Dietary Aide cross-trained as a cook to assist with meal preparation, serving, and sanitation in the kitchen. You will work with a dietitian and Food Service Director to ensure correct resident diets, prepare ingredients, maintain a clean, orderly environment, store items properly, and monitor food temperatures.

This role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to standards, and participation in menu planning, with duties including dishwashing and stock

Qualifications

• Assist with meal prep and sanitation according to procedures.
• Keep kitchen sanitized and orderly; monitor food storage and stock levels.
• Coordinate with dietitian and Food Service Manager to follow resident diets.
• Record meals served and monitor temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Works with dietitian and Food Service Manager to ensure that proper resident diets are followed.
• Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.).
• Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen.
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly.
• Monitor stock par levels to report to Food Service Director.
• Accepts, approves and puts away food and supply delivery.
• Supervises dietary aides under the direction of the Food Service Director.

This position will be cross trained as a cook.

CareCore Lakeridge is seeking a dietary Aide to assist with the following:

• Prepare meals and beverages using specific procedures
• Serve meals using standards to maintain sanitation and quality
• Store stock appropriately in order to maintain cleanliness and prevent food spoilage
• Accurately record meals served and monitor temperatures of food
• Clean assigned dining areas using appropriate procedures
• Wash dishes and/or utensils according to acceptable standards of practice
• Ensure compliance with sanitation
• Participate in menu planning

Cook Duties Include:
