CareCore Lakeridge in Cincinnati, OH seeks a dietary Aide cross-trained as a cook to support meal preparation and service.

You will work with a dietitian and Food Service Manager to ensure proper resident diets are followed, prepare ingredients for cooking, keep a sanitized kitchen, and monitor food temperatures. This role emphasizes sanitation and collaboration to deliver quality meals.

Responsabilités

• Prepare meals and beverages following specific procedures
• Serve meals maintaining sanitation and quality standards
• Store stock properly to keep areas clean and prevent spoilage
• Record meals served and monitor food temperatures
• Clean dining areas according to procedures
• Wash dishes and utensils to standards of practice
• Ensure sanitation compliance and participate in menu planning
• Work with dietitian and Food Service Manager to follow resident diets
• Prepare ingredients for cooking (chopping vegetables, cutting meat)
• Maintain a sanitized, orderly kitchen and proper storage of items
• Monitor stock par levels and report to Food Service Director
• Accept and store deliveries of food and supplies
• Supervise dietary aides under the Food Service Director's direction

This position will be cross trained as a cook.

CareCore Lakeridge is seeking a dietary Aide to assist with the following:

• Prepare meals and beverages using specific procedures
• Serve meals using standards to maintain sanitation and quality
• Store stock appropriately in order to maintain cleanliness and prevent food spoilage
• Accurately record meals served and monitor temperatures of food
• Clean assigned dining areas using appropriate procedures
• Wash dishes and/or utensils according to acceptable standards of practice
• Ensure compliance with sanitation
• Participate in menu planning

Cook Duties Include:

• Works with dietitian and Food Service Manager to ensure that proper resident diets are followed
• Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
• Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
• Monitor stock par levels to report to Food Service Director
• Accepts, approves and puts away food and supply delivery
• Supervises dietary aides under the direction of the Food Service Director
