Cal Block, LLC is seeking a Dietary Aide to perform designated work and cleaning routines in the Dietary Department, reporting to the Dietary Manager or Cook in absence. The role emphasizes sanitation, accuracy in meal preparation, and timely service.

The position requires a High School diploma, some dietary service experience preferred, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Flexibility for emergencies and respectful interaction with staff and residents is essential.

Formación

• High School graduate; preferred institutional dietary service experience.
• Ability to read, understand and follow recipe directions, diet orders, tray cards and work assignments.
• Willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks with frequent interruptions.
• Numerical accountability for recipe preparation and proper measuring of cleaning agents; good motor coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including emergencies; patient and tolerant toward staff, residents, and family members.

Responsabilidades

• Perform defined work routines using dietary utensils, supplies and equipment.
• Assist cook in preparation and service of meals.
• Meet scheduled meal and snack times.
• Follow Federal and State long-term care regulations and Dietary Department Policy and Procedures.
• Follow cleaning schedules and perform cleaning duties as scheduled.
• Arrange tray cards, load food carts and serve meals.
• Set up dining room and serve residents; wash and store dishes.
• Report damaged fixtures, unsafe equipment, and vermin concerns.
