Job summary

Infinity Healthcare Consulting is seeking a Dietary Aide to support the Dietary Department in a long-term care setting. You will assist the cook in meal preparation and service, help meet meal times, and maintain sanitary dining and kitchen areas.

Qualifications include a high school graduate; ability to read recipes and diet orders; willingness to perform routine, sometimes repetitive tasks; and being able to lift up to 50 lbs. HIPAA compliance and safety procedures must be followed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, understand and follow recipe directions and diet orders.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks with interruptions and adhere to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform defined work routines using dietary utensils, supplies and equipment as assigned.
• Assist cook in preparation and service of meals and meet scheduled meal times.
• Follow federal/state long term care regulations and infection control policies.
• Maintain sanitation, clean dining areas and assist in receiving supplies.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and report equipment or safety issues as needed.
