Job summary

Archway Management seeks a Dietary Aide to perform routine dietary tasks, assist the cook with meal preparation and service, and maintain sanitary dining areas for residents. You will follow established policies, meet meal times and support tray assembly and meal delivery with care.

The role requires reading diet orders, following recipes, and adapting to emergencies or flexible hours while treating residents and staff with respect and dignity.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, understand and follow recipe directions, diet orders, tray cards and work assignments.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks with frequent interruptions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and maintain good motor coordination.

Responsibilities

• Perform defined work routines using dietary utensils, supplies and equipment as assigned.
• Provide assistance to the cook in meal preparation and service.
• Meet scheduled meal and snack times and follow dietary procedures.
• Follow Federal and State long term care regulations and policy.
• Follow cleaning schedules and perform cleaning duties as scheduled.
• Assist in arranging tray cards, loading food carts and serving meals.
• Set up dining room and serve residents; wash and store dishes.
