Job summary

Buckeye Care and Rehabilitation is seeking a Dietary Aide to support food service operations in a healthcare setting. You will set up meal trays, assist with serving meals, and help maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen under supervision by the Cook and Dietary supervisor.

Responsibilities include operating the dishwasher, preparing nourishments, checking dishwashing water temps, and helping with clean-up and sanitation while complying with safety standards and food-handling requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Food handlers’ certificate must be obtained and maintained.
• Ability to read and follow procedures and recipes.
• Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions.

Responsibilities

• Set up meal trays and assist with serving meals.
• Strip down returned trays and start washing dishes.
• Operate dishwasher and monitor water temperatures.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks.
• Sweep and mop kitchen; maintain clean, sanitary surfaces.
