Job summary

Yona Eagle is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to join our team and provide warm, friendly hospitality to residents, visitors, and coworkers. You will assist in meal preparation, dining setup, and service under supervision, while upholding sanitation standards and safety guidelines.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and strong communication to support a positive dining experience in our care environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a dietary aide.
• Experience in customer service is a plus.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Apt in operating cookware, bakeware and cooking appliances.
• Friendly with good communication skills.
• Good physical condition and stamina.
• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in food services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under supervision of dietary manager or cook.
• Deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms.
• Take down dining areas and collect dishes.
• Discard leftovers and take out garbage.
• Clean food stations and wash dishes, cooking vessels and silverware.
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory.
• Assist in keeping track of expenses and menu planning.
• Help maintain kitchen equipment and appliances.
