Job summary

Seasons Care Center Rehab & Healthcare is seeking candidates to join our Dietary team in the kitchen and dining room. We are a fast-paced, friendly team focused on patient care and Excellence. The role supports meal delivery, dining area upkeep, and collaboration with cooks and dietary managers.

Ideal candidates communicate well, can read, and are able to lift up to 50 pounds. This is a facility-based position offering opportunities for advancement and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Friendly with good communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and residents.
• Ability to read.
• Meet physical demands - stand, sit, walk extended lengths of time, push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Delivers meals to resident rooms at designated times and sets up dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Maintain a clean dining area and dishes using proper procedures; discard leftovers and trash.
• Understand and follow color coding and abbreviations of tray cards and therapeutic menus.
• Assist the Cook and Dietary Manager as directed.
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory.
• Help maintain kitchen equipment and appliances.
• Attend all mandatory in-services, trainings, and department meetings.

Dietary Aide/ Dishwasher - Essential Functions:

• Delivers meals to resident rooms at designated times and sets up tables or other dining areas with attention to cleanliness and order.
• Maintain a clean dining areas & dishes using appropriate procedures, discard leftovers & empty trash.
• Understand and follow color coding and abbreviations of tray cards and therapeutic menus.
• Assists the Cook and Dietary Manager as directed.
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory.
• Helps maintain kitchen equipment and appliances.
• Attend all mandatory in-services, educational trainings and department meetings.

Dietary Aide/ Dishwasher - Requirements:

• Friendly with good communication skills

• Ability to read.

• Food service experience preferred
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines a plus
