Wilshire Lakewood Care Center Rehab & Healthcare is seeking a dependable Dietary Aide to support meals delivery and dining room operations. You will work with residents and staff in a fast-paced kitchen, ensuring clean dining areas, proper food handling, and timely service.

Qualifications

• Friendly with good communication skills.
• Able to communicate effectively with staff and residents.
• Ability to read.
• Stand, sit, walk extended lengths of time, push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Food service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines a plus.

Responsibilities

• Delivers meals to resident rooms at designated times and sets up tables or other dining areas with attention to cleanliness and order.
• Maintain a clean dining areas & dishes using appropriate procedures, discard leftovers & empty trash.
• Understand and follow color coding and abbreviations of tray cards and therapeutic menus.
• Assists the Cook and Dietary Manager as directed.
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory.
• Helps maintain kitchen equipment and appliances.
• Attend all mandatory in-services, educational trainings and department meetings.

Dietary Aide - Essential Functions:
