Job summary

Stpetersrehab in Saint Peters, MO is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our Dietary Team and help keep the kitchen and dining room running smoothly. You will assist with meal service, dining room setup, sanitation, and inventory while supporting residents and caring for their nutritional needs in a fast-paced, friendly environment.

You should be friendly and have strong communication skills, be able to read and follow directions, and be physically able to stand, walk, push, pull, and lift up to 50

Qualifications

• Friendly with strong communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and residents.
• Ability to read and follow directions.
• Able to stand, walk, push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Food service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dining rooms and tables for meal service
• Deliver meals to resident rooms and dining areas
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining and kitchen areas
• Follow tray cards, color coding, and therapeutic menus
• Assist the Cook and Dietary Manager as directed
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory
• Help maintain kitchen equipment and appliances
• Attend required in-services and trainings
