Qualifications

• Friendly demeanor and professional interaction with residents and staff.

• Capable of standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Prior food service or dietary aide experience preferred.
• Knowledge of kitchen sanitation and safety procedures a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and meal delivery.
• Set up and clean dining areas, ensuring sanitation standards.
• Deliver meals to resident rooms and assist with tray setup.
• Wash dishes, discard food waste, and take out trash.
• Follow dietary cards, portioning guidelines, and special diet requirements.
• Support cooks and dietary managers with kitchen tasks.
• Stock supplies and maintain inventory.
• Clean and help maintain kitchen equipment.
• Attend required training, meetings, and in-services.

Key Responsibilities for Dietary Aide:

• Assist with food preparation and meal delivery
