Job summary

Bastrop Silver Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist the dietary team with food preparation and service for residents, following universal precautions and state guidelines.

You will prepare and serve beverages, set up and pass trays, stock the snack cart, buss tables, and assist with cleaning, dishwashing, and handwashing routines; prior experience in a commercial kitchen is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Texas Food Handler Certificate is required.
• Experience in a commercial kitchen preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food prep and cooking following universal precautions and state/federal regulations.
• Prepare and serve beverages.
• Set up and pass trays for meal service.
• Stock snack cart.
• Buss tables and trays.
• Clean the kitchen work area and perform dishwashing.
• Follow proper handwashing guidelines.
