Job summary

Pflugerville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Pflugerville, TX seeks a Dietary Aide (PRN) to support dining services under the direction of the Certified Dietary Manager. You will help with food preparation, serving meals, tray setup, and post-meal cleanup to maintain a clean dining environment.

The role requires basic education, a Texas Food Handler Certificate, and experience in a commercial kitchen is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Texas Food Handler Certificate required.
• Experience in a commercial kitchen is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food prep and cooking following universal precautions and state/federal regulations.
• Preparing and serving beverages.
• Setting up and passing trays for meal service.
• Stocking snack cart.
• Bussing of tables and trays.
• Cleaning the kitchen work area.
• Dishwashing.
• Follow proper handwashing guidelines.
• Additional special projects or tasks can be assigned at times by the CDM or the Executive Director.
