Job summary

Golden Years Nursing and Rehabilitation in Texas is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to support meal service and kitchen sanitation. You will set up meal trays, assist with serving meals, and help maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment.

Responsibilities include operating the dishwasher, checking temperatures, preparing nourishments and snacks, and supporting dietary staff as needed. Must have a high school diploma and food handlers' certificate; training provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to read technical procedures.
• Ability to read and follow recipes.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

Responsibilities

• Set up meal trays and assist with serving meals.
• Operate dishwasher and maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks; monitor water temperatures and sanitation.
• Assist with orientation and training of dietary staff and support other departments.
