Job summary

Fundamental is seeking a Dietary Aide in Bennettsville, SC to assist in meal preparation and service for patients and residents. You will follow the dietary manager's instructions, ensure meals are prepared and served according to menus and diet orders, and support the kitchen staff with safety practices.

Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, English fluency, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Food handler’s permit preferred where required by local regulations.
• Experience in food prep and service in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is strongly preferred.
• Must be able to speak, understand, and write in fluent English.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and/or service of meals for patients, employees, and events as directed by the Dietary Manager.
• Serve food according to the plan and patient/resident dietary needs and preferences.
• Assist the Cook by ensuring proper food handling and portioning in line with the menu and diet orders.
• May wash dishes or perform related tasks as directed.
