Job summary

Fundamental is seeking a Dietary Aide to help prepare and serve meals for patients and residents. You will support the Dining staff to ensure safe, appealing, and timely service in a healthcare setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a food handler’s permit (preferred), prior food prep experience, fluent English, and reliable transportation. This is a full-time, on-site position with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Food handler’s permit is preferred according to local rules.
• Experience in food preparation and service in healthcare settings is strongly preferred.
• Must be able to speak, understand, and write in fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and/or service of meals for patients, employees, and events.
• Serve food according to the planned menu and individual diet orders.
• Assist the cook to ensure proper portions and safe food handling.
• May wash dishes when needed or instructed.
