Beacon Children's Hospital has an immediate opening for a Dietary Aide/Cook. We are seeking individuals committed to improving the lives of those with mental health illnesses. Responsibilities include:

1. Preparing and cooking meals according to dietary guidelines and recipes
2. Ensuring all food is prepared and served in a safe and sanitary manner
3. Monitoring food quality and presentation
4. Collaborating with dietary aides to ensure efficient meal service
5. Assisting with menu planning and recipe development
6. Maintaining inventory of food supplies and equipment
7. Following proper food handling and storage procedures
8. Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas

Requirements

1. Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a kitchen or culinary setting
2. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety standards
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
