Job summary

Regency Integrated Health Services is seeking a Dietary Aide to support meal preparation and service at Remington Transitional Care of Richardson in Richardson, TX.

Under the direction of the Certified Dietary Manager, you will assist with food prep, beverage service, tray setup, stocking, and cleaning to maintain a clean dining environment.

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and a Texas Food Handler Certificate is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a commercial kitchen is preferred.
• Texas Food Handler Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food prep and cooking following safety standards.
• Prepare and serve beverages.
• Set up and pass trays for meals.
• Stock snack cart.
• Bus tables and trays.
• Clean kitchen and work areas.
• Dishwashing and handwashing compliance.

Primary Responsibilities

The Dietary Aide follows the direction of the Certified Dietary Manager and state guidelines to ensure that food is properly prepared, served to residents, and after meals are completed cleanup of the dining hall and dishes.

Essential Functions

• Assist with food prep and cooking following universal precautions and state/federal regulations
• Preparing and serving beverages
• Setting up and passing trays for meal service
• Stocking snack cart
• Bussing of tables and trays
• Cleaning the kitchen work area
• Dishwashing
• Follow proper handwashing guidelines
• Additional special projects or tasks can be assigned at times by the CDM or the Executive Director

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred

Licensing Requirements

• Must have Texas Food Handler Certificate

Experience Requirements

• Working in a commercial kitchen experience is preferred
