Job summary

La Jolla Post-Acute in San Diego, CA is seeking a dependable Dietary Aide for a part-time role. You will assist with meal prep, portioning, serving residents, and maintaining a clean, sanitary kitchen to support the dietary team.

The PM shift runs 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM; you must follow food safety guidelines, work with a team, and help deliver quality meals to residents while upholding facility policies. Strong communication and reliability are essential to ensure meals meet dietary requirements

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling practices preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying supplies as required.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Must be able to follow residents' dietary requirements and facility procedures.
