Job summary

Peninsula Post-Acute invites compassionate individuals to join our team as Dietary Aide in Burlingame, CA. This role supports meal preparation, service, and nourishment of residents, following menus and dietary orders.

The position offers both full-time and part-time hours with opportunities for growth within our supportive care environment. Shifts available include AM 5:30 AM-2:00 PM and PM 11:30 AM-8:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and service of meals and snacks according to menus and standardized recipes.
• Check meal trays for menu accuracy, diet orders, preferences, and nutritional requirements.
• Prepare food according to established recipes and proper consistency requirements for mechanical soft and pureed diets.
• Wash dishes and clean kitchen and dining areas following meal service.
• Ensure dishes, equipment, and supplies are properly cleaned, stored, and organized.
• Follow all dietary safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
• Support the dietary team in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents.
