Job summary

The PM shift runs 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM; you must follow food safety guidelines, work with a team, and help deliver quality meals to residents while upholding facility policies. Strong communication and reliability are essential to ensure meals meet dietary requirements

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling practices preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying supplies as required.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Must be able to follow residents' dietary requirements and facility procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and food portioning according to established menus and dietary requirements.
• Serve meals and beverages to residents in a timely and courteous manner.
• Prepare and deliver meal trays according to residents' dietary needs.
• Assist with kitchen cleanup, dishwashing, and sanitation of food preparation areas and equipment.
• Follow proper food handling, storage, and infection prevention procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen and dining environment.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing food supplies.
• Follow facility policies, food safety standards, and sanitation guidelines.
• Work closely with the dietary team to ensure residents receive meals according to schedule.
• Perform other dietary duties as assigned.
