Job summary

Apploi is seeking a dependable Dietary Aide for part-time evening shifts to assist with meal preparation, serving, and maintaining a clean, sanitary dining environment for residents. You will help ensure meals meet dietary needs and facility procedures.

Responsibilities include preparing/serving meals, setting up dining areas, delivering meals, following diet orders, and maintaining food safety and sanitation standards in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous food service, dietary, kitchen, or hospitality experience preferred but not always required.
• Healthcare, nursing home, senior living, or institutional food service experience is a plus.
• Must be dependable, organized, and able to work as part of a team.
• Must be able to follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Must be comfortable working with elderly residents and in a healthcare environment.

• Assist with portioning and plating meals
• Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment

• Stock and organize food and kitchen supplies
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures
• Report any concerns regarding meals, dietary needs, or resident preferences to the appropriate supervisor
• Work cooperatively with dietary and nursing staff to provide quality meal service
