Forest Hill Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a reliable and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team in Richmond, VA. In this role, you will help ensure our residents receive nutritious, well-prepared meals in a clean, welcoming dining environment.

Assist in preparing and serving meals and snacks according to resident dietary plans and facility menus.
Ensure proper portion control and food presentation.
Set up, deliver, and collect meal trays and dining room service.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dining areas, and equipment in compliance with state and facility regulations.
Wash dishes, utensils, and equipment following safe food-handling procedures.
Stock and organize food supplies and assist with inventory and storage as needed.
Work collaboratively with dietary, nursing, and care staff to support residents’ nutritional needs.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards.
Minimum 1 year of Dietary Aide or food service experience required (healthcare or long-term care preferred).
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Dependable and able to work scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Knowledge of sanitation and food safety standards is a plus.
