Dietary Aide Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous food service or dietary experience is a plus, but not required
• Reliable and dependable
• Ability to work well as part of a team

Dietary Aide Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation, portioning, and serving
• Prepare and deliver meals and snacks according to established menus and dietary requirements
• Assist residents with a pleasant and positive dining experience
• Stock food, supplies, and kitchen items
• Clean and sanitize kitchen, dining, and food preparation areas
• Wash dishes and maintain kitchen equipment
• Follow all state and federal food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Follow facility policies and procedures
• Work collaboratively with the dietary team to ensure residents receive meals safely, accurately, and on time
