Job summary

Qualifications

  • Assist in preparing and serving meals and snacks according to resident dietary plans and facility menus.
  • Ensure proper portion control and food presentation.
  • Set up, deliver, and collect meal trays and dining room service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dining areas, and equipment in compliance with state and facility regulations.
  • Wash dishes, utensils, and equipment following safe food-handling procedures.
  • Stock and organize food supplies and assist with inventory and storage.
  • Work collaboratively with dietary, nursing, and care staff to support residents’ nutritional needs.

Forest Hill Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a reliable and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team in Richmond, VA. In this role, you will help ensure our residents receive nutritious, well-prepared meals in a clean, welcoming dining environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing and serving meals and snacks according to resident dietary plans and facility menus.

Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and skills and may fall outside the posted range.
