Job summary

Goldwater Care is seeking a Part-Time Dietary Aide to support meal preparation and service in a healthcare setting. The role covers 4pm-8pm shifts and every other weekend, with focus on adhering to planned menus and dietary requirements.

You will assist with snack service, food safety, and kitchen sanitation while supporting residents with meals and nourishment in a respectful environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• One (1) year dietary experience in a healthcare facility or other institution is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Review, prepare, and serve meals in accordance with planned menus with standardized recipes and special diet orders.
• Prepare and serve residents nutritional bedtime snacks as well as substitute foods for residents who refuse foods served.
• Ensure food, etc., is prepared in accordance with sanitary regulations.
• Perform dishwashing/cleaning procedures assuring that utensils, etc., are readily available for next meal.
• Prepare and deliver snacks, etc., as instructed. Deliver food carts/trays to designated areas.
• Serve food and drinks in the dining room as instructed.
• Sweeping & mopping floors in the kitchen/dish room as instructed by supervisor.
