Job summary

Continuing Healthcare at The Ridge is hiring for a full-time day shift Dietary Aide and a part-time evening Dietary Aide. The role involves meal service, food preparation, equipment care, and setting up trays and dining tables to ensure a positive dining experience for residents.

The Cook role requires familiarity with federal/state/local guidelines; prior dietary experience in healthcare is preferred. This is an employee-owned ESOP environment with strong retention and reward programs.

Qualifications

• Responsible for meal service and assisting in food preparation.
• Care and cleaning of food service equipment, setting up trays and dining room tables.
• Follow policies, procedures and applicable regulations in long-term care.

Responsibilities

• The Cook is responsible for preparing food in accordance with federal/state/local standards and established procedures.
• Ensure delivery of meals and good customer service for a positive dining experience.
• Previous dietary department experience in healthcare preferred.

Experience and Skills

Responsible for meal service, assisting in preparation offood, care and cleaning of food service equipment, setting uptrays and dining room tables.

Ability to ensure the delivery of meals and customerservice for a positive dining experience. Follow allapplicable policies and procedures as well as current federal,states and local guidelines and regulations that governlong-term care.

The Cook is responsible for the preparation of food inaccordance with current applicable federal, state, andlocal standards, guidelines and regulations, with ourestablished policies and procedures.

Previous experience working in a dietary department isrequired preferably in a healthcare setting.
