Job summary

CHS is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide in Hillsboro, OH to support meal service and food preparation for residents. You will assist in setting up dining areas and trays, ensuring meals are served promptly and courteously.

The role emphasizes adherence to healthcare dietary standards, teamwork with the dietary department, and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen and dining area.

• The Cook is responsible for food preparation in accordance with standards and procedures.
• Prior experience in a dietary department in healthcare is preferred.

Experience and Skills

Responsible for meal service, assisting in preparation offood, care and cleaning of food service equipment, setting uptrays and dining room tables.

Ability to ensure the delivery of meals and customer servicefor a positive dining experience. Follow all applicable policiesand procedures as well as current federal, states and localguidelines and regulations that govern long-term care.

The Cook is responsible for the preparation of food inaccordance with current applicable federal, state, and localstandards, guidelines and regulations, with our establishedpolicies and procedures.

Previous experience working in a dietary department isrequired preferably in a healthcare setting.
