Job summary

CareRite Centers, LLC is seeking a Dietary Aide to support daily meal service at our Tennessee center. You will assemble and check diet trays, deliver meals, and help keep the kitchen area clean and organized.

No degree is required; training is provided. A positive attitude and teamwork are essential as you work with residents, families, and staff. This role offers daily pay and growth opportunities within the care team.

Qualifications

• Experience in LTC preferred but not required.
• Must be able to deal tactfully with residents, families and staff.
• Able to follow and understand procedures.
• Positive attitude, patience and team mentality.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and check diet trays to meet residents' dietary needs.
• Label and date food properly.
• Deliver food carts and collect after meals.
• Work in the dish room and wash dishes and utensils.
• Prepare and deliver snacks to nursing units.
• Keep the kitchen clean; sweep and mop floors as instructed.
• Carry out garbage disposal.

Dietary Aide Duties Include:

• Assist in assembling and checking diet trays prior to distribution to ensure all residents receive the proper meals to meet dietary needs.
• Label and date food properly
• Deliver food carts to designated areas as well as collecting food trucks when meals are finished to return to the dish room.
• Work in dish room, wash all dishes//utensils utilizing dish machine.
• Prepare and deliver snacks to nursing units.
• Ensure kitchen stays clean at all times, sweep/mop floors as instructed.
• Carry out garbage

Dietary Aide Requirements/Qualifications:

• Experience in LTC preferred but not required
• Must be able to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, etc...
• Able to follow and understand procedures
• Positive attitude, patience and team mentality

Dietary Aide Job Description:

Prepares items to be used on an assembly line. Works on an assembly line to prepare residents meals. Additional kitchen tasks.

Salary: Up to $14.50 an hour
