Job summary

CareRite Centers, LLC is seeking a Dietary Aide to support our residents by assembling meals, labeling trays, delivering food carts, and returning supplies to the dish room.

You will work in a nursing care setting, keep the kitchen clean, assist with snacks, and ensure proper food handling. A positive attitude, patience and teamwork are valued; LTC experience is a plus, but not required.

We offer daily pay to help with scheduling needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in LTC preferred but not required.
• Able to follow and understand procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and check diet trays prior to distribution to ensure residents receive proper meals.
• Label and date food properly.
• Deliver food carts to designated areas and collect carts after meals.
• Work in the dish room and wash dishes/utensils with the dish machine.
• Prepare and deliver snacks to nursing units.
• Keep the kitchen clean at all times, sweeping/mopping as instructed.
• Carry out garbage.

At our center, residents are treated to a complete spectrum of Rehab Services and Clinical/Nursing Care. We provide the comprehensive care that meets the specialized physical, clinical and emotional needs of every individual that comes through our doors.

Dietary Aide Duties Include:

• Assist in assembling and checking diet trays prior to distribution to ensure all residents receive the proper meals to meet dietary needs.
• Label and date food properly
• Deliver food carts to designated areas as well as collecting food trucks when meals are finished to return to the dish room.
• Work in dish room, wash all dishes//utensils utilizing dish machine.
• Prepare and deliver snacks to nursing units.
• Ensure kitchen stays clean at all times, sweep/mop floors as instructed.
• Carry out garbage

Dietary Aide Requirements/Qualifications:

• Experience in LTC preferred but not required
• Must be able to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, etc...
• Able to follow and understand procedures
• Positive attitude, patience and team mentality

Dietary Aide Job Description:

Prepares items to be used on an assembly line. Works on an assembly line to prepare residents meals. Additional kitchen tasks.
