Job summary

CareRite Centers, LLC is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in assembling meal trays, label and date foods, and deliver meals to nursing units. You will help keep the kitchen clean and support snack service across the facility.

Experience in long-term care is preferred but not required. A positive attitude, patience, the ability to follow procedures, and a team spirit are valued at our center, which offers daily pay and equal opportunity employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in assembling and checking diet trays prior to distribution to ensure all residents receive the proper meals to meet dietary needs.
• Label and date food properly.
• Deliver food carts to designated areas and collect food trucks when meals are finished to return to the dish room.
• Work in dish room, wash all dishes/utensils using the dish machine.
• Prepare and deliver snacks to nursing units.
• Ensure kitchen stays clean at all times, sweep/mop floors as instructed.
• Carry out garbage.

At our center, residents are treated to a complete spectrum of Rehab Services and Clinical/Nursing Care. We provide the comprehensive care that meets the specialized physical, clinical and emotional needs of every individual that comes through our doors.

Dietary Aide Duties Include:

• Assist in assembling and checking diet trays prior to distribution to ensure all residents receive the proper meals to meet dietary needs.
• Label and date food properly
• Deliver food carts to designated areas as well as collecting food trucks when meals are finished to return to the dish room.
• Work in dish room, wash all dishes//utensils utilizing dish machine.

Dietary Aide Requirements/Qualifications:

• Experience in LTC preferred but not required
• Must be able to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, etc...
• Able to follow and understand procedures
• Positive attitude, patience and team mentality

Dietary Aide Job Description:

Prepares items to be used on an assembly line. Works on an assembly line to prepare residents meals. Additional kitchen tasks.
