Job summary

CareRite Centers, LLC in Green Hills, TN is seeking a Dietary Aide. The role involves assembling and checking diet trays to meet dietary needs, labeling and dating food, delivering meals, and maintaining dish room cleanliness. You will support snack delivery to nursing units and help keep the kitchen in good order.

Applicants should have prior dietary aide experience. A positive attitude and ability to work with residents, families, and staff are essential. This position offers daily pay options.

Qualifications

• Must have dietary aide experience (LTC preferred but not required).
• Must deal tactfully with residents, family members, visitors, etc...
• Able to follow and understand procedures.
• Positive attitude, patience and team mentality.

Responsibilities

• Assist in assembling and checking diet trays prior to distribution to ensure all residents receive the proper meals to meet dietary needs.
• Label and date food properly
• Deliver food carts to designated areas as well as collecting food trucks when meals are finished to return to the dish room.
• Work in dish room, wash all dishes//utensils utilizing dish machine.
• Prepare and deliver snacks to nursing units.
• Ensure kitchen stays clean at all times, sweep/mop floors as instructed.
• Carry out garbage
