Job summary

Phoenix Senior Living is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our community’s dining team in Jonesboro. Full-time shifts run 6a-2p or 11a-7p, with flexibility to meet resident needs.

The Dietary Aide assists with food preparation, plating, and dining service for residents and guests, adhering to Phoenix standards and sanitary regulations. Experience in dining hospitality or senior living is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/GED required.
• Previous dining hospitality or full-service senior living experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals and plate dishes in accordance with standardized recipes.
• Provide dining and table service to residents and guests.
• Follow sanitary procedures and comply with regulatory food service standards.
• Adhere to posted menus and utilize Phoenix standardized recipes in a timely manner.

Dietary Aide

Full Time, shifts may vary 6a-2p or 11a to 7p

Purpose

The Dietary Aide is responsible for food preparation, plating dishes, dining and table services to residents and guests in the community’s dining rooms and designated areas in accordance with Phoenix Senior Living standards. Responsible for handling all foods in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards and complies with all federal, state and local regulatory procedures regarding food service.

• Follow all local, state and federal policies regarding food handling


• Maintains standards of cleanliness, hygiene and health standards


• Prepares all special dietary needs as directed


• Adheres to posted menus and prepares food items using approved Phoenix standardized recipes in a timely manner

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma/ GED required


• Previous experience in dining hospitality and / or full service senior living preferred
