Job summary

The Pearl at Watkins Centre, part of Phoenix Senior Living, seeks a Dietary Aide to support residents' meals and dining services. You will handle food prep, plating, and serving in the community's dining rooms and designated areas.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and experience in dining hospitality or senior living; weekend/evening availability and strong communication are valued.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/ GED required.
• Previous experience in dining hospitality and / or full service senior living preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and plate meals for residents in dining rooms and designated areas.
• Provide dining and table service to residents and guests.
• Follow all policies regarding food handling and sanitation.
• Adhere to posted menus and prepared recipes in a timely manner.

Shifts Details

Dietary Aide

Full Time & Part Time available

Purpose

The Dietary Aide is responsible for food preparation, plating dishes, dining and table services to residents and guests in the community’s dining rooms and designated areas in accordance with Phoenix Senior Living standards. Responsible for handling all foods in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards and complies with all federal, state and local regulatory procedures regarding food service.

• Follow all local, state and federal policies regarding food handling


• Maintains standards of cleanliness, hygiene and health standards


• Prepares all special dietary needs as directed


• Adheres to posted menus and prepares food items using approved Phoenix standardized recipes in a timely manner

Requirements

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSURE- CERTIFICATION

• Education: High School Diploma/ GED required


• Previous experience in dining hospitality and / or full service senior living preferred
