Job summary

Phoenix Senior Living is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and plate meals, serve residents, and maintain dining room cleanliness according to sanitation standards. The role supports dining services and adheres to approved recipes and menus while delivering timely service.

Responsibilities include food handling per regulations, multitasking during peak times, and effective communication with residents and team members. Weekend/evening availability is required.

Shifts Details

Dietary Aide: Mon-Fri ; every other weekend required

Purpose

The Dietary Aide is responsible for food preparation, plating dishes, dining and table services to residents and guests in the community’s dining rooms and designated areas in accordance with Phoenix Senior Living standards. Responsible for handling all foods in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards and complies with all federal, state and local regulatory procedures regarding food service.

• Follow all local, state and federal policies regarding food handling
• Maintains standards of cleanliness, hygiene and health standards
• Prepares all special dietary needs as directed
• Adheres to posted menus and prepares food items using approved Phoenix standardized recipes in a timely manner

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma/ GED required
• Previous experience in dining hospitality and / or full service senior living preferred
