Job summary

Myrtle Beach Manor is seeking a Dietary Aide to support our residents in the dining rooms and designated service areas. You will assist with food preparation, plating, and timely service in accordance with our standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and prior experience in dining, hospitality, or senior living. You must be able to work weekends and evenings and handle multiple tasks with strong communication and sanitation awareness.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Previous dining, hospitality, or senior living experience is preferred.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours.
• Demonstrates good judgment and communication skills.

Dietary Aide

Purpose

Dietary Aide

The Dietary Aide is responsible for food preparation, plating dishes, dining and table services to residents and guests in the community’s dining rooms and designated areas in accordance with Phoenix Senior Living standards. Responsible for handling all foods in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards and complies with all federal, state and local regulatory procedures regarding food service.

• Follow all local, state and federal policies regarding food handling
• Maintains standards of cleanliness, hygiene and health standards
• Prepares all special dietary needs as directed
• Adheres to posted menus and prepares food items using approved Phoenix standardized recipes in a timely manner

Requirements

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSURE- CERTIFICATION

Dietary Aide

• Education: High School Diploma/ GED required
• Previous experience in dining hospitality and / or full service senior living preferred
