Job summary

The Bungalows at Jonesboro is seeking a Dietary Aide to join their team. Full-time position with shifts from 6am-2pm or 11am-7pm in the community dining areas.

You will assist with food preparation, plating, and service to residents and guests, following Phoenix Senior Living standards and sanitary procedures. Education requirement and preferred hospitality experience are noted.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/ GED required.
• Previous experience in dining hospitality and / or full service senior living preferred.
• Understanding of infection control procedures.
• Demonstrate the ability to Multi task and Manage Stress.
• Competent in time management / organizational skills.
• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and plate meals and assist with dining services for residents and guests.
• Follow all local, state and federal policies regarding food handling and sanitation.
• Adhere to menus and Phoenix standardized recipes.
• Support the dining team to ensure timely, courteous service.

Dietary Aide

Full Time, shifts may vary 6a-2p or 11a to 7p

Purpose

Dietary Aide

The Dietary Aide is responsible for food preparation, plating dishes, dining and table services to residents and guests in the community's dining rooms and designated areas in accordance with Phoenix Senior Living standards. Responsible for handling all foods in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards and complies with all federal, state and local regulatory procedures regarding food service.

• Follow all local, state and federal policies regarding food handling
• Maintains standards of cleanliness, hygiene and health standards
• Prepares all special dietary needs as directed
• Adheres to posted menus and prepares food items using approved Phoenix standardized recipes in a timely manner

Requirements

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSURE- CERTIFICATION

Dietary Aide

• Education: High School Diploma/ GED required
• Previous experience in dining hospitality and / or full service senior living preferred
