Job summary

Lexington Country Place is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our team. This full-time role involves food preparation, plating, and dining service for residents and guests in a senior living community. Some weekends are required and hours may include evenings.

Adherence to sanitary procedures and state/federal regulations is essential. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED and experience in dining hospitality or senior living is preferred.

Shifts Details:

Dietary Aide

Full-Time; some weekends required

Purpose

Dietary Aide

The Dietary Aide is responsible for food preparation, plating dishes, dining and table services to residents and guests in the community’s dining rooms and designated areas in accordance with Phoenix Senior Living standards. Responsible for handling all foods in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards and complies with all federal, state and local regulatory procedures regarding food service.

• Follow all local, state and federal policies regarding food handling
• Maintains standards of cleanliness, hygiene and health standards
• Prepares all special dietary needs as directed
• Adheres to posted menus and prepares food items using approved Phoenix standardized recipes in a timely manner

Requirements

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSURE- CERTIFICATION

Dietary Aide

• Education: High School Diploma/ GED required
• Previous experience in dining hospitality and / or full service senior living preferred
