Job summary

The Lodge at Jasper is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist with food preparation, plating, and dining services for residents and guests in our senior living community. You will follow Phoenix Senior Living standards, ensure sanitary handling of all foods, and support dietary needs as directed.

The role requires weekend availability and adherence to posted menus. Candidates should have a High School Diploma/GED and prior dining/hospitality experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and portion food according to menus and recipes.
• Plate dishes and provide dining/table service to residents and guests.

• Assist with sourcing and preparation of meals for special dietary needs.

Shifts Details:

Dietary Aide

Mon-Fri ; every other weekend required

Purpose:

Dietary Aide

The Dietary Aide is responsible for food preparation, plating dishes, dining and table services to residents and guests in the community’s dining rooms and designated areas in accordance with Phoenix Senior Living standards. Responsible for handling all foods in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards and complies with all federal, state and local regulatory procedures regarding food service.

• Follow all local, state and federal policies regarding food handling
• Maintains standards of cleanliness, hygiene and health standards
• Prepares all special dietary needs as directed
• Adheres to posted menus and prepares food items using approved Phoenix standardized recipes in a timely manner

Requirements:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSURE- CERTIFICATION

• Education: High School Diploma/ GED required
• Previous experience in dining hospitality and / or full service senior living preferred
