Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Fort Belvoir, VA is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to support dining teams and nourish residents’ nutritional health. You will prepare and serve meals, deliver trays, and keep dining and service areas clean and compliant with safety standards.

You’ll review diet orders, assist residents with courtesy and professionalism, and help maintain accurate dietary records to ensure residents receive appropriate meals and therapeutic diets on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to menus and therapeutic diet orders
• Deliver tray service and snacks as directed
• Maintain clean, organized dining and tray service areas
• Set up and reset dining rooms per community standards
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and regulatory guidelines
• Maintain accurate records of resident dietary needs
• Review diet boards and daily logs to ensure compliance
• Practice safe food handling and complete cleaning assignments
• Support residents with courtesy and professionalism
