Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Springfield, VA is seeking a part-time Caregiver who brings warmth, patience, and a passion for helping older adults. As the heart of our care team, you will provide hands-on support with daily living activities and build meaningful relationships with residents every day.

You will assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care, follow ISP plans, support dining, and help create engaging activities—especially for Memory Care residents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Compassion, reliability, and communication skills.
• Age 18+ and CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care.
• Follow ISP and document changes.
• Promote safety, dignity, and independence.
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities.
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Communicate with families and care leaders.
• Create enriching experiences in Memory Care for residents with memory loss.
