Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Charlottesville, VA seeks a Dietary Aide to provide exceptional dining services to residents in our skilled nursing center. You will prepare and serve meals, deliver trays, maintain dining areas, and ensure safety and compliance with dietary plans.

You will support residents with courtesy and professionalism, review diet boards, and help maintain accurate dietary records. This role emphasizes hospitality and nutrition in a caring senior living environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to menus and therapeutic diet orders
• Deliver tray service and snacks as directed
• Maintain clean, organized dining and tray service areas
• Set up and reset dining rooms per community standards
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and regulatory guidelines
• Maintain accurate records of resident dietary needs
• Review diet boards and daily logs to ensure compliance
• Practice safe food handling and complete cleaning assignments
