Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Fairfax, VA is hiring a Caregiver to support residents with daily living activities and companionship. You will assist with ADLs, follow individualized service plans, promote safety, dignity and independence, and engage residents through conversations and activities.

In Memory Care, you will create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss while coordinating with families and care leaders.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; age 18+
• CPR/First Aid (or ability to obtain)
• Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility and personal care.
• Follow Individualized Service Plans (ISP) and document changes.
• Promote safety, dignity and independence.
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities.
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with families and care leaders.
