Job summary

CareRite Centers, LLC in Boca Raton, FL, seeks a friendly Dietary Aide to support residents with meal service and nutrition. You will assemble and check diet trays, label and date foods, deliver carts, and assist in the dish room, helping to keep the kitchen clean and organized.

Experience in long-term care is preferred but not required. A positive attitude, patience, and team mentality are essential as you follow established procedures and work closely with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver snacks to nursing units
• Ensure kitchen stays clean at all times, sweep/mop floors as instructed
• Carry out garbage

Dietary Aide

At our center, residents are treated to a complete spectrum of Rehab Services and Clinical/Nursing Care. We provide the comprehensive care that meets the specialized physical, clinical and emotional needs of every individual that comes through our doors.

Duties Include:

• Assist in assembling and checking diet trays prior to distribution to ensure all residents receive the proper meals to meet dietary needs.
• Label and date food properly
• Deliver food carts to designated areas as well as collecting food trucks when meals are finished to return to the dish room.
• Work in dish room, wash all dishes//utensils utilizing dish machine.
• Prepare and deliver snacks to nursing units.
• Ensure kitchen stays clean at all times, sweep/mop floors as instructed.
• Carry out garbage
