Job summary

South Shore Health is seeking a part-time Cafe/Dining Room attendant at our Weymouth campus to service staff, volunteers, and visitors.

You'll maintain a pleasant, clean dining environment, provide hospitality and food service, and collaborate with hospital staff to reflect the organization's commitment to exceptional care. Shifts include day hours with additional weekend coverage as needed.

• Provides hospitality and food services to patients, employees, volunteers, and visitors.
• Communicates effectively with staff to ensure smooth operation.
• Represents the hospital professionally to all audiences.

Responsible for Cafe/Dining Room services for all staff, volunteers and visitors of South Shore Hospital.

Independently establishes and maintains active communication with all staff to ensure a pleasant, clean and safe work environment

Enhances the South Shore Hospital experience for patients, employees, volunteers, and visitors by providing appropriate hospitality and food services.

Represents the Hospital appropriately to all “audiences” in a way that reflects well on the Hospital’s reputation and image.

Compensation Pay Range: $16.50 - $23.60 3p-8, 3:45p-8 or 4p-8 weekdays. As needed 6a-8p weekends, school breaks and holidays. Holidays include Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. Performs other duties as assigned.
