Job summary

The Central Diet Office Representative at Rochester Regional Health will support diet order management and maintain accurate communication with patients and clinical staff. You will answer calls, relay diet details, and ensure orders are processed accurately using the menu software to input orders and generate tray tickets.

The role requires excellent customer service, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent within 90 days of hire into the position.
• Two (2) years customer service experience preferred, ideally in a health care setting.
• Associate degree or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Input and verify patient diet orders in the menu software to generate customized menus.
• Answer calls and provide exceptional customer service to patients and hospital staff.
• Coordinate with Food Services and other departments regarding patient meals and diet orders.
• Provide operating reports such as tray tickets and nourishment lists as required.
• Maintain accuracy in patient menus and dietary restrictions while multitasking across programs.
