Job summary

PACS is seeking a Dietary Aide to support daily food service operations in a United States facility. The role reports to the Cook and Dietary supervisor and involves meal tray setup, dishwashing, serving, and keeping the kitchen clean and sanitary.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to read recipes, follow procedures, and obtain a food handler's certificate. Emphasis on teamwork and safe food handling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must obtain and maintain a food handler's certificate.
• Ability to read and follow recipes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Learn food service routines quickly and adapt to shift needs.
• Set up meal trays and assist with serving meals.
• Strip down returned trays and start washing dishes.
• Check and record dishwasher parameters (chlorine and water temp).
• Maintain kitchen sanitation including sweeping, mopping, and surfaces.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks and carry out trash disposal.
• Participate in training and work cooperatively with all departments.
