Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Level One Truck Service Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy duty trucks and trailers at one of our nationwide TA Truck Service locations. You will work with customers to explain wear conditions and recommend service options, while ensuring repairs stay within procedures and safety guidelines.

The role requires basic computer skills, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and some

Qualifications

• Prior verifiable truck service experience preferred
• Basic computer skills required
• A valid driver’s license is required
• Good verbal and written communication skills are essential
• Heavy duty ASE certifications are a plus but not required

Responsibilities

• Diagnose wear conditions and recommend solutions to customers with the help of TSA or Manager
• Complete repairs within your capabilities and as written
• Understand Truck Service Standard Services and specialized customer programs
• Follow safety guidelines and report potentially unsafe situations
